This policy explains what information txserverfinder.com (the “Site”) collects and publishes, why, and the choices you have.
1. Information about listed process servers
Source. We compile listings from the public licensee list published by the Texas Judicial Branch Certification Commission (JBCC). We re-download it about once a week.
What we publish:
- Name, JBCC certification number, certification status, expiration date, the JBCC “first issue date” field, and county of record.
- Business phone and business email only when the JBCC itself publishes them. Under Texas Government Code §2062.003, the JBCC releases contact details only for licensees who authorized it.
- City and ZIP code derived from the business address the JBCC publishes.
What we do not publish: street addresses; personal contact details from any other source; reviews or ratings.
Profiles without released contact details are shown for certification checks but are marked so search engines don’t index them.
Why: to help the public find and verify certified process servers, a purpose served by the public record itself.
2. Corrections, claims and removal
- Claim or correct. Use the claim form. We verify claims by contacting the email address the JBCC publishes for that certification number (see section 5).
- Removal (opt-out). Use the removal form or reply “remove” to any email from us. We honor opt-outs within 10 business days. We keep only the certification number (and, for email opt-outs, the email address) on a suppression list so you are not re-added or re-contacted.
3. Retention

4. Information about visitors
- No advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information. The Site sets no cookies of its own.
- Hosting and security. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused anti-spam check, plus basic rate limits.
- Analytics. If we enable analytics, we will use cookieless, aggregate analytics and update this policy.
5. Information you send us
- Forms (claim, correction, removal, unsubscribe, contact): we collect what you enter, plus the time and approximate technical details needed to stop spam. Submissions are delivered to us through our form-delivery provider (Formspree) and used only to handle your request.
- How we verify claims and removals. We send a confirmation request to the email address the JBCC publishes for that certification number. If none is published, we ask for other reasonable proof, such as a photo of your JBCC certification card, which we delete after verification.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, plan, and payment status, never your full card number.
6. Email from us
We may email listed servers at the business email the JBCC publishes, about their listing (for example, to invite them to claim or correct it). Every such message:
- identifies us;
- includes our postal address;
- includes a working unsubscribe link and lets you reply “unsubscribe”.
We honor unsubscribes within 10 business days and never sell or transfer suppressed addresses.
7. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that operate the Site for us (Cloudflare for hosting and security, our form-delivery provider, Stripe, and our email provider), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell or rent personal information.
8. Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Access to submissions and records is limited to the operator.
9. Children
The Site is for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date.
